Cross-Country Skiing
Cross Country skiing in Haliburton county is a beautiful and favourite past time. This season, enjoy Glebe Park, and Moosewoods Trail systems https://www.skihaliburton.com/ Please note that the Twin Lakes Ski trails across the road from our location will be closed this season due to some logging activities and safety issues as a result.
Ice Skating*
Glide across the picturesque Mountain Lake on your skates and enjoy the fresh winter air. Whether playing a game of hockey or taking a romantic skate, ice skating is a fun and memorable experience. Ogopogo Resort maintains a large rink on the lake, complete with lighting for night-time skating.

Ice Fishing
Enjoy a day of fishing on Mountain Lake and try to catch Haliburton Gold Lake Trout, Pickerel, and Whitefish. You will have access to a heated ice fishing hut and bait, and know that the huts are walkable from 300 ft from the shores of the resort. Enjoy a carefree day of ice fishing on the lake.
