Summer Ogopogo Resort Photos

Our summer photos show guests jumping off the dock, relaxing in Muskoka chairs by the water, and paddling canoes, kayaks, paddleboats and paddleboards, which are free for resort guests. You will also see our heated swimming pool, the sandy beach and plenty of fish caught on Mountain Lake.

Fall, Winter and Spring on Mountain Lake

In fall, the Haliburton Highlands turn red, orange and gold around the lake. Winter photos show skating on the frozen lake, snowmobiling, dog sledding, ice fishing and cottages covered in snow. Spring brings misty mornings on the water and the start of a new fishing season.

Another relaxing and very enjoyable stay at Ogopogo! We have stayed at this resort a few times now over the past 10 years and we have enjoyed it every time. Katherine and Todd are fantastic hosts and have made this resort a diamond in the rough, everything from the location, grounds, activities, services, and the accommodations are second to none compared to other places we have stayed at in this region. Great view, Romantic, Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value We left our hearts at a beautiful Ogopogo Resort. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, had everything we needed, loved it, there was nothing not to like. and the owners were amazing. This is the perfect resort for weekend getaway. Can’t wait to be back next year.

Best resort ever In all the 40 years my friends and I have gone away on weekends in Ontario, this is, without a doubt, the finest, cleanest, most well kept resort we’ve ever been to. Everything is in pristine condition and there is something for everyone. The lake and surrounding area is beautiful and the fishing is excellent. The owners, Katherine and Todd are very knowledgeable, friendly and great to talk to. You couldn’t possibly go wrong coming here to Ogopogo. It’s the best.

Winter Getaway This was our first stay at Ogopogo Resort. Even before we arrived we were super pleased with the service and support Katherine and Todd delivered. Simple to book, pay, any and all questions answered quickly and always friendly. The resort itself was beautiful. Our cottage was immaculate, cozy, super cute and had everything we needed. We ice fished, hiked and enjoyed an incredible few days away. I recommend Ogopogo resort without hesitation and look forward to going back next year!

Magnificent Mountain Lake This was our tenth stay at Ogopogo Resort. Todd and Katherine are such fantastic hosts! We appreciate the spotless cabins, the ready-to-go firepits, and the warm, welcoming vibe. We lucked out with the weather and had a wonderful time with our family at their little slice of heaven.

Relaxation time You can't control the weather so it was a cool weekend. We have enjoyed this resort before and are never disappointed. It is small and quiet. There are a lot of outdoor toys for activities of all ages. The cottages are small, but cozy. I am grateful not to have to drag linens with me but I prefer soft pillows rather than the hard pillows supplied. The coffee maker was not properly cleaned, but other than that all was great. If you decide to go out for breakfast the Heather Lodge is close by, reasonable and absolutely amazing!
